Chrono
Where the session actually went.
Chrono never touches your audio. It is a pass-through plugin that sits on any track and watches the clock instead of the waveform.
It reads the transport, not your files.
When the DAW is recording, that is recording time. When it is playing, or you have been moving and typing, that is editing. When nothing has happened for a while, that is idle — and idle does not count towards the session.
Your takes get counted.
Every punch into record is one more take, so a session has a shape and not only a length.
The log is yours.
Totals live inside the project, so they survive closing it. A CSV also lands in your Documents folder: one closed row per day and project, appended, never rewritten.
Nothing leaves your computer.
There is no network code in Chrono at all. The mouse and keyboard monitor asks once for your permission and only ever notes that there was input, never what it was. Say no and Chrono keeps working from the host transport alone.
VST3 · Windows 10 or later, 64-bit. Some corporate antivirus blocks global input hooks; if that happens, Chrono carries on without the monitor.

Windows 10 or later, 64-bit. It is a VST3 plugin, so any host that loads VST3 will load it — it is developed and tested in Studio One. There is no macOS build yet.
One engine, two versions
Pro is the same processing with every fixed value brought out as a control. At factory settings the two are identical, and an automated test proves it on every build.
How the licence works
Perpetual, offline, no account. The key is a line of text you paste into the plugin once. It works on every computer you own, and nothing expires.
