Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.

Who is responsible

Emilio Jiménez Vico, tax ID (NIF) 76421227R, Plaza de Corcubión, 17, 28029 Madrid, Spain, trading as Alborea Audio. You can reach us at info@alboreaaudio.com for anything on this page.

What we collect, and why

Your email address, if you subscribe. The newsletter form asks for an email and nothing else. We use it to tell you about releases and updates to our plugins. The legal basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time — every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and writing to us works too.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records the usual technical data of every visit: IP address, browser, pages requested and time. This happens automatically on any website and we use it only to keep the site running and to investigate abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

Nothing else. This site runs no analytics, no advertising tags and no social tracking pixels. We do not build profiles, we do not sell data, and we do not send anything to advertising networks.

Cookies

This site sets only functional cookies: one to remember the language you chose, and — if you log in as an administrator — the cookies WordPress needs for that session. There are no analytics or advertising cookies, which is why you are not seeing a consent banner.

Who else sees your data

Our hosting and email provider, Hostinger International Ltd, stores the site and processes the newsletter list on our behalf. When you buy a plugin, the checkout runs on Payhip, the online store we sell through, together with the payment provider you choose there. Payhip collects the data it needs to take the payment and handle VAT, under its own privacy policy, and passes us your name, email and order reference so that we can issue your licence and support you.

How long we keep it

Your newsletter email stays on the list until you unsubscribe. Purchase and licence records are kept for as long as the law requires us to keep accounting records. Server logs are kept for a short period and then rotated out by the hosting provider.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. Write to info@alboreaaudio.com and we will answer. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so here and date the change. Last updated: 2 October 2026.
